You are required to conduct a short seminar presentation on the common codes and conventions of the factual television genre. This will demonstrate your understanding of codes and convention for factual programming.
Individually or in pairs, you will:
- analyse existing examples of factual programming (documentary and tv news) and identify common codes and conventions
- produce short illustrated presentation on codes and conventions of factual programming showing how these codes and conventions inform or determine audience responses.
