P1: describe issues relating to factual television programmes with some appropriate use of subject terminology [IE]
M1: explain issues relating to factual television programmes with reference to detailed illustrative examples and with generally correct use of subject terminology
D1: comprehensively explain issues relating to factual television programmes with elucidated examples and consistently using subject terminology correctly

Brief

To produce a textbook chapter, written report or presentation on the issues facing producers of factual programming and the impact these have on their work referencing the examples you have found.

Task

  • Investigate and research the issues facing the producers of factual programming. Disuss the following issues : accuracy; balance; impartiality; objectivity; subjectivity; opinion; bias; representation; access; privacy; contract with viewer
  • select particular examples issues to research and investigate these further
