Opportunity for young people (16-25) to attend free Channel 4 workshop on working in media
Channel 4 and MyKindaCrowd are hosting workshops across the UK throughout 2015, to promote careers within the media industry and identify hidden and/or unknown talent.
Pop Ups have taken place already in Bournemouth and Norwich, and there are more to come!
C4 Pop Ups bring together and connect a diverse range of young people aged 16-25, from different backgrounds and with varying levels of knowledge and experience. It’s an opportunity to find out more about the media industry, hear from people in your town who have gone on to do great things and get advice on how to get your foot in the door.
As the official UK broadcaster of the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, the themes of diversity and inclusivity are central to the C4 Pop Ups and as part of the day we set Rio-inspired media challenges. Participants get to choose from a range of workshops – factual TV production, marketing, or digital, that are facilitated by Channel 4 staff, industry experts and MyKindaCrowd tutors.
Applications for the C4 Pop Up in Preston on 14 October are open now – apply here!
