Oscar shortlisted director Chris Jones together with the London Screenwriters’ Festival want to connect emerging and aspiring screenwriters with emerging/aspiring filmmakers with the direct goal to create extraordinary feature films to release in cinemas, on DVD and on the internet.

The concept is simple: 50 two-page screenplays will be selected, released to the filmmakers to produce; the best of which are edited to form a feature.

The first of our Create50 projects was called ’50 Kisses’ (for which I am a co-writer).  The film is being shown at Birmingham’s Giant Screen on Saturday June 7th at 7pm with a writer/filmmaker Q&A where we’ll tell the story of how the film was made.  We are also hoping to be joined by Director Chris Jones.  You are encouraged to attend – not only to watch a hugely entertaining movie! – but to also meet with some of the filmmakers, with a view to being involved in the next venture?

You can find more information at our website www.50kissesfilm.com and www.Create50.com

Tickets can be booked through the Giant screen website.
